As a provider of High Quality, Bespoke Health and Care Services we understand that some people may wish to explore different options. These may include:
Dependent on your needs your local authority may provide a reablement service for six weeks, free of charge for people who are being discharged from hospital. Following the six-week period a charge may be made for future services dependent on a financial assessment.
Private Home Care Services
There are a number of private home care providers available. These services are often funded through contracts with a local authority, usually time restricted and subject to a limited budget.
Franchised Home Care Companies
There are a number of ‘National’ franchised Home Care Companies providing domiciliary services based on a well proven model. As with any franchise the quality should be measured locally and not on what is, or is not being achieved in other parts of the country.
Social Enterprise and Community Interest Companies
These organisations often work closely with local authorities and community health care providers. They are usually founded on the values and principles of their Directors with an aim to improve quality outcomes for the communities they serve.
Residential and Nursing Care Homes
The majority of these establishments are privately owned and fees vary. Depending on the level of CQC Regulation and Categories of Registration there may, or may not be a Registered Nurse available at all times. Some of these establishments will make provision for couples to remain together and other services may be available.
