We understand the most important thing that people consider when seeking support with their Health and Care needs is Quality. We only employ Experienced and Qualified Personal Assistants and Registered Nurses, who are led by Dr. Clive Acraman and Pam McAuslan. Clive and Pam are two of the most qualified and experienced leaders’ in Health and Care Services in the UK with experience across Social Care, the NHS, Social Enterprise and the Private Sector. Their expertise allows us to be confident that they will understand your care and support needs at the first time of asking and your Personalised Care and Support Plan will ensure all your needs are met appropriately.
Many people presume that receiving a bespoke Personalised Health and Care Service in their own, or their loved one’s home is beyond their financial means; however, as more information about financing care becomes available purchasing health and care at home services is becoming increasingly popular.
As a Private provider of Health and Care Services we have no qualifying criteria for our services if you would like a service please contact us to arrange for a free, no obligation consultation and care planning meeting. We are happy to come to you or you and your family can come to us at our office in Newquay, Cornwall.
Once we have worked together to produce and agree a Personalised Care and Support Plan, complete with costs, we will arrange for your service to begin at the earliest opportunity. All we ask is for payment to be made a month in advance of the service being delivered.
All our costs are based on your bespoke requirements as identified with you through our Personalised Care and Support Planning Process. Please call Clive or Pam on 01637 838600 who will be only too happy to arrange to meet with you to discuss your options.
Funding for care can be a confusing subject area, however, by carrying out a little research and utilising resources available to you, your options become clearer and easier to understand. We recommend that you consult with your Financial Adviser, Wealth Manager, Legal Representative or Bank Manager who we are happy to work alongside. These professional services will be able to advise you on areas such as:
- Equity Release
- Funding Care fees
- Estate and Wealth Preservation
If you have been assessed as requiring care services by your local authority, you may be offered direct payments. As part of this arrangement, monetary payments will be made by your local council directly to you so that you are able to organise and pay for your care service. These payments are designed to support you to remain living at home,
The Government is looking to increase the number of people who receive direct payments, allowing more people access to the benefits that they bring. If you are considered eligible for support with funding, your local authority is duty bound to consider direct payments as an option for you, as opposed to delivering the services themselves.
As you are effectively purchasing your own services, if you so wish, you can add your own funds to your direct payment to purchase services from Health and Care at Home Ltd above the value of your direct payment. This allows you to not only purchase your care from an organisation you trust, but also to buy services in addition to those your local authority care assessment states, should you wish to. Our Personalised Care and Support Planning Process will support you to identify your bespoke needs and your own priorities.
Independent Living Fund
Funded by Central Government, the Independent Living Fund supports people with disabilities to live independently in their own homes, rather than in residential care.
Payments are made to people with disabilities to enable them to afford the employment costs, or associated employment costs, of a Personal Assistant, care agency or organisation such as Health and Care at Home Ltd to provide the support they need to continue to live at home.
There are many things which the fund cannot be used to pay for, to understand what cannot be paid for with the fund. Find out more about the Independent Living Fund on the Government website.
